PURPOSE

The intent of this $2,000 scholarship is to honor the legacy of Gordon & Joyce Thomas, who have been integral to the foundation of Lifetree Community Church, by recognizing Faithfulness & Fruitfulness. As Gordon & Joyce have exemplified faithfulness & fruitfulness by investing themselves tirelessly in the formation of this church & have served in countless ways, this annual scholarship will honor a Lifetree Community Church high school senior who embodies those same qualities. The young person should have displayed faithfulness to God through participation as a Ministry Team Member of Lifetree, & fruitfulness through serving their family, church, community, & world.

DEADLINE

Applications must be submitted to the leadership of Lifetree by June 4, 2022.

CRITERIA

  1. Student must be a graduating high school senior.

  2. Student must have served on a Lifetree Ministry Team for at least 1 year.

  3. Student must be pursuing continuing education in the Fall of this year.

    APPLICATION PROCESS

  1. Complete application & submit to leadership of Lifetree by deadline.

  2. Submit reference from Ministry Team Leader.

  3. Submit proof of acceptance into a program for continuing education.

  4. All applications will be reviewed by Pastoral Leadership of Lifetree.

  5. Scholarship will be announced at the end of June.
